The familiar, comforting dishes of Korea: the food Koreans actually eat on an ordinary great night.
Barbecue may be the heart of Anto, but half of Korean cooking lives off the grill, and we treat that half with the same care. This is the comfort side of the menu: rice dishes, bubbling stews, braises, and cold noodles, made the way they're made at home in Korea.
Start with bibimbap, in the classic bowl or crackling in a hot stone pot. Go deeper with the soups and stews: soondubu jjigae, kimchi jjigae, galbi tang, samgyetang, and galbi jjim, the soy‑braised short rib that falls off the bone. Kimchi fried rice and mandoo cover the craving side; house‑made cold noodles finish a barbecue meal the traditional way; and bossam is the calm, steamed counterpoint to the fire.
Everything comes with banchan, and most of it runs at both lunch and dinner, with weekday lunch sets that keep the comfort under $25.
